My Sweet Little Helper Girl

My sweet Annalise who happens to be 4 years old is quite the amazing little lady! Sit back for a second while I set the scene.......

Saturday Devin and I made the trek to the Orlando Temple (4 hours each way in case you were wondering). A young man from our ward is headed out for a mission and was taking out his Endowments. Devin was this young man's Scout Master and is now his Bishop. David (the young man) is absolutely amazing. He will be a fabulous missionary.

Anyway, at one point I called home to check on things. Lauren was babysitting for us until our nephew and his wife came over to take over for her. Annalise gets on the phone and says she cleaned her room and made our bed (Lauren was in our bed when we left, so I couldn't make it.....yes it gets made daily.......I wish). Here I am thinking that maybe, just maybe Lauren decided to help Annalise do something so sweet. But, nope, Annalise did this all on her own. She did a pretty good job! I couldn't believe it. I have never met a little child who is as helpful as Ananlise. She's always wanting to help me with whatever I'm doing: laundry, dishes, bathrooms, picking up, cooking, etc.... Sometimes it's a little aggravating if I'm in a hurry. But, I usually try to let her help me. Lauren never really did this, which explains a lot. She doesn't like to help and doesn't like to clean her room. This could just be a teenage thing. Anyway, don't know how long my sweet little lady will be helpful, but I am enjoying it for now!
I sure love my girls! I can't imagine a day without them!
